The Plaza
Sioux Falls, SD

Formerly known as the Western Surety building in downtown Sioux Falls, The Plaza sat empty for a number of years until DocuTAP, a medical software company, signed a lease to occupy three of the five floors. DocuTAP’s vibrant and growing business brought new life to the building which in turn created significant interest for the additional tenant spaces on first and fifth floor. Greeting guests and employees through the main entrance is a large open lobby that spills into Frontier Bank, Pappy’s Coffeehouse, and Woodgrain Brewery. Three additional office tenants occupy the first floor. The fifth floor was separated into four office tenants which all have expansive views of downtown Sioux Falls. The building received all new windows, some of which were enlarged from floor to ceiling glazing, as well as a new clerestory roof and two rooftop patios at third floor. The original, underutilized landscaped elements at the street intersection were demolished and a large patio was created to allow outdoor seating for tenants, employees and the public.
