Frontier Bank
Sioux Falls, SD

Looking to expand its presence in Sioux Falls as well as bring the first Interactive Teller Machine (ITM) to the region, Frontier Bank found the prime location inside The Plaza in Downtown Sioux Falls. The client wanted to introduce its customers to a new way of banking in today’s technology driven world. The bank desired an open concept design for their offices. They also saw an opportunity to incorporate a coffeehouse at the main lobby, while at the same time visually separating the spaces with their own distinct characteristics and brand.

Gone are the days of waiting in a teller line or sitting at a desk to open bank accounts. Three large glass operable walls open the bank to the building lobby as well as Pappy’s Coffeehouse. The three spaces flow seamlessly together creating a casual setting for employees and customers to interact and discuss the customer’s needs over a cup of coffee. Low workstations and glass office fronts allow visibility and an open feeling throughout the entire space. Back in the lobby and outside the glass operable walls, an ITM is available for customers to use during, or after banking hours.
