The 18,000 SF building was designed to house a fast growing company that had simply run out of space at their current location. The floor plan was developed for the building and site to accommodate an 8,000 SF expansion in the future. The steel frame structure is clad with a combination of stone and insulated metal panels. Large, stone clad towers highlight the building’s entry and patio area as well as create highly visible areas for signage. Louvered sunshades control the heat gain at the glazed surfaces of the building while also adding aesthetic appeal. The large windows with interior light shelves provide natural light for the workstation areas inside the building. A large training room with operable partition opens into the ample break room to allow for large company functions. Energy efficient features were designed in the building for the electrical and plumbing systems. Low voltage lighting, energy conserving motions sensors for lighting and plumbing, water efficient plumbing fixtures, and insulation values exceeding International Energy Code were included.
